Web Designer

The Web Designer to design various web sites, landing pages, email and other online marketing communications for multiple Fortune 500 companies. The Web Designer will support several teams in redesigning existing and creating new client web pages through a fine blend of design, layout, features and functional improvements.

The Web Designer will work in a creative, open environment interfacing with multiple internal and external teams. The Web Designer should possess 2-3 years web design experience, HTML experience is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. 2-3 years experience using Adobe ® PhotoshopTM (minimum version CS2)—or equivalent web design authoring tools (e.g. FireWorks)

2. Complete understanding of images, color gamut and calibration, and all PhotoshopTM tools and functions pertinent to Web-oriented graphic design

3. Preferred, but not required: 1-2 years programming experience with HTML (hard-code), DHTML and CSS to program web pages

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Multimedia Graphic Design and/or a similar degree with at least one year of relevant experience is preferred. Professional experience and samples of production-grade work may substitute for all or part of education requirements.
